ABOUT

THE GRIEVING PROCESS

How do people grieve? Is there a ‘right’ way to grieve? Definitely, the response is NO. People grieve in their own way. You are unique and the way you grieve is…well…you!

LOSING A BELOVED PET

DOG

Pets create a story….chances are that your dog has created and been the focal point of numerous stories throughout its life with you.

Maybe your dog has been your best friend…your loyal confidant…the one who loves you unconditionally…the one who has welcomed you home every day, and especially on those really trying days…the one you have cried with and who just gave you his paw as understanding…  Maybe you have lots of photos and video clips of your loved dog.

You might want to make a memorial to her…create a tribute…plant a special tree or shrub…a way to remember the love that your cherished dog brought you.  The way in which you grieve, and the way in which you remember, your loved dog is unique to you, and to the relationship that you both shared.

CAT

Pets create a story….chances are that your cat has created and been the focal point of numerous stories throughout its life with you.

Maybe your cat has been your best friend…your loyal confidant…the one who loves you unconditionally…the one who snuggled up on your lap when you were feeling down…the one who slept on your bed, even though you vowed that no pet would be allowed to do this…the one who nuzzled you for more affection when you stopped rubbing her…the one who made you laugh until you cried over her antics with the rubber toy.

Maybe you have lots of photos and video clips of your special cat. You might want to make a memorial to her…create a tribute…plant a special tree or shrub…a way to remember the love that your cherished cat brought you. The way in which you grieve, and the way in which you remember, your loved cat is unique to you, and to the relationship that you both shared.
